The Scope of ENT Services
- Outpatient Consultations with prior appointment
- Emergency ENT Service - Bronchoscopy for removal of foreign bodies from the nose, throat and lungs
- Emergency ENT Service - Facial and / or nasal trauma with bleeding, as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Surgery for enlarged tonsils and adenoids using minimally invasive and safe surgical procedures
- Surgery for sinus diseases by the endoscopic method
- Surgery for correction of deviated nasal septum
- Hearing Assessment and Screening by: Otoacoustic Emissions technique, and BAER [ Brainstem Auditory Evoked Responses] testing to detect inner ear hearing defects.
- Audiology and Speech Therapy Service
- Cochlear Implant Surgery: [to be launched soon]. This will be an exclusive service for children with severe hearing impairment due to birth defects and abnormalities of the auditory mechanism and nerve.
Accessing Our ENT Service
For regular [non - urgent] outpatient consultations, please call Lotus Children's Hospital and ask the operator to connect you to the Information Center (Front Office). Request an appointment with any of our ENT consultants.
For any ENT Emergency, bring your child / children directly to our ER (Emergency Room). Our pediatricians will first assess your child and initiate first aid treatment and contact our ENT consultants for further management.
